Al Fresco

Could be just my experience, but I really didn’t enjoy my visit to be honest. Pizza was 3-star and ambience was 1-star so I balance it at 2 stars.

Normally places like this don’t allow children especially the crying loud type, but I think with business struggling, they made an exception, so my experience here was just a loud child screaming all night.

Meanwhile the glass roof, which should have a view, was covered to ‘block the summer sun’ except that it stayed covered even at night.

I think if they focused on being a great wine and food spot, with real candles and ambient Italian music, in a quiet, intimate, space with visible windows, then it would be a different experience and one that people would actually seek out. Praying for their success

The ambience is top notch, the food is wow, and most of all the service is absolutely wonderful!!
I highly recommend this place, the amount of reviews doesn’t do justice to it honestly.
It is just .. Perfect!!

Very bad coffee for a crazy price of 32 dhs! Not the best ending for mediocre lunch

Not my first visit at Al Fresco, and one of the most authentic and charming Italian restaurants in Dubai “with a genuine history“, compared to lots of “would-be” Italians. Food quality would have been rewarded with 5 stars, service and ambience with 4.5 stars: no loud Italian music, no fake Italian waiters, etc.
But unfortunately we made a reservation, while upon arrival being approached by a staff member, offering us a 25% discount voucher on the entire bill. Once we made clear we had a reservation, the man quickly came up with the excuse that the discount was only applicable for walk-in customers … and not for reserved tables.
We had a brilliant night but the way you treat your loyal and pro-active customers is rude and unacceptable. Because of that, it’s just a no go (again)!
