Delicious food, really affordable, and grrat location at bay square. Would recommend it!
Awesome food and nice place
Very delicious and authentic Thai foods available. (must try)
Nice food with affordable price
Great service, amazing food! We went there twice as we’ve been missing Thailand and been waiting for them to open borders to foreigners like us. It really felt we were in Thailand to be honest, that’s how amazing the food was
Really delicious and authentic thai food and great service! We enjoyed every second there.
This restaurant located in Business Bay serves authentic Thai food. They have spacious interiors and outdoor seating as well. We were served drinks to start off our wonderful evening- Passionfruit cooler, spicy and ginger, Thai ice tea and coconut milkshake. My pick would be the passionfruit cooler. Super refreshing, perfect for the hot humid weather! Next came the best soup I have ever had in my life- the Tom Yum shrimp soup! It was just so flavorful; it’s basically hot and sour shrimp soup with lemongrass, galangal, lime leave, shallot and tomato. I would recommend you come to this restaurant just for the soup, if not anything else. Mind blowing!
Then we moved onto the salads and appetizers. Som Tam salad- Thai papaya salad with carrots, tomato and roasted peanut mixed with Thai dressing. It was brilliant! Appetizer platter- Kai satay (chicken satay with sweet peanut sauce). This was really good. Shrimp shup pang tod (deep batter fried shrimp with served with plum sauce) Fried chicken wrapped in a leaf.
Mains: Gaeng Kieaw wahn chicken curry, which is nothing but our beloved Thai green curry chicken with Thai eggplant and Thai sweet basil. This was such a lovely dish. Spicy and the flavors were bang on. Went perfectly well with the jasmine rice. Pla Ga pong Lui Suea- deep fried whole sea bass with Thai herb salad and rice ground powder. I couldn’t get the taste of the fish as the flavors of the salad and other elements were overpowering. It was not bad, but wish the fish used was more fleshy. Beef pad prik Thai dum- Stir fried beef with peppercorn in black pepper sauce. Not a bad dish at all! Chicken pad med ma muang- stir fried chicken with cashew nut, spring onion and capsicum. I loved this dish. All the elements on the plate complimented one other perfectly, hence it was an absolutely delicious dish!
Desserts: Khao neeo mamuang – mango sticky rice served with sweet coconut milk. Bua Loy Phuak- taro balls in coconut cream. Both were decent.
Overall, a really good option if you are a Thai food lover!
Good food. I had had the Tom yum soup..(very good) fried rice (good), and green curry (just ok). Definitely service needs improvement in that the “servers need training in friendly hospitality”.
