Had a bad encounter with one of the vets and when the manager got involved, she had the clinic drop our dog as a client midway through his treatment and threatened us with legal action if we don’t remove the bad review.

Don’t waste your time. We saw John about our dog and he was rude and impatient. I asked him to repeat what the issue was with our dog and he rolled his eyes at me and said he had already explained. I will not be back. Shame on him

Great doctors and nurses. Caring. Vet nurse Jeff is very nice. However they are quite profit focused and will charge for unnecessary things. They billed 500dhs for ‘miscallaneous’ and then asked for more money for more tests until I mentioned that I paid 500dhs for miscallaneous which they eventually removed. They are conveniently located on the lake level in JLT next to the lake level rta parking in cluster C.

DONT WASTE your money and your time at this clinic. My puppy got cut by the vet who shaved her private areas last week and this is my follow up review for your all customers. Simple advice: RUN AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC.

Unprofessional, unethical, irresponsible vets who care more about their ego than our dogs.

AVOID AT ALL COST! The vets at Modern Vet JLT would rather let your dogs suffer than admit their wrongdoings.

I brought my puppy of 5 months to check her privates as I thought she had an infection (which she did not). The vet shaved the hair around her area and CUT HER SKIN. We didn’t notice right away and went back home – Although during the walk back, our puppy had difficulty walking but we thought that was just because she wasn’t used to having no hair down there. The day after, our puppy kept on itching and biting her area in a weird way and it was obvious that something was wrong.

We went back to the same vet thinking they would help us figure out what the issue was. ON THE CONTRARY, the vet told us there was nothing and that our puppy was having behavioral issues when in fact it was the vet WHO CUT HER SKIN DEEP. The vets ego was hurt and he would NOT ADMIT HIS wrongdoing. He told us to go home and DISCIPLINE OUR PUPPY. On top of that, he wanted us to pay a fee for the follow up visit. What is this logic? We had to come back for a follow up because the vet HURT our puppy. I guess the client has to pay for YOUR mistake and lack of experience/professionalism. What a JOKE . All they want is money and they couldn’t care about your dogs health.

We went to another vet WHO CONFIRMED AND SHOWED US THE CUT. He gave us an antibacterial ointment to cure our puppy while Modern Vet JLT told us to discipline our poor puppy.

SHAME on YOU “Modern” Vet.

Best vet that I have been to in Dubai. I was nervous taking my dog to be spayed but vet Joanna answered all my questions in detail and put my mind at complete ease. The check-up was also very thorough and the nurse Jade kept my pup calm and happy throughout.
